Hurricane Advisory

SUNDAY 31 Aug 2008 For all US-HERO teams and members. Two tropical storms are active, with three more as potential. At this time, Hurricane Gustav is expected to make landfall in or near Texas and to track into north Texas. Please ensure your personal and team equipment is ready if we get activated for hurricane response.

Update: SAR Team 17 of DFW has been activated and is working the evacuee center in the DFW Metroplex. All other teams and members be aware that the likelihood of us being further employed is high, due to the size, intensity and projected track of Hurricane Gustav. Important: If your team gets activated locally, accept the call but let headquarters know by email or phone call............Chief
